F Reg Defender TD5?

I was wondering at what point this F reg. vehicle became non original? the seller says;

"its virtually the same as the newest TD5 defender 2006-2007"

It is a nice vehicle but I wouldn't like to have to explain this to the old bill or even my insurance company.

The story is kind of plausible and it does have the look of a long time bitsa Land Rover rather than an immaculate late ringer. A lot can happen in 25 years, there's a few non td5 bits too in various places. Who knows where the individual bits came from of course.

That's not a td5 screen I don't think, chassis doesn't look galv

Id guess v5 bought for a ringer. Defo wouldnt touch it.

cant see how its getting air to the airbox as td5 has pipe into drivers wing, that still has vent on passanger side and none on drivers
