the Vauxhall Frontera 2 and 4 doors are the Isuzu Mu and Wizard here in NZ,
and the Holden Frontera and Jackaroo in Australia, and sell quite well.

Here they were a complete and utter lemon with inferior quality control
from GM leading to loads of problems. Many of the early ones still leak
like a sieve.

Almost any other vehicle is better.

Big difference here. Isuzu has a good rep for quality and solid products.
and Holden just as good. Ours come direct from Japan, and Holden build
theirs in Australia, where are the UK ones built? in the northern UK GM
plants?

At the Vauxhall factory in Bedford (or was it Luton)? I think.

The Sintra was the biggest flop wasn't it? I think I've only ever seen two.

I know from your postings in other groups you like to stir things up, I would
however suggest that if you wish to do that when the subject is based on fact
rather then some emotive drivel, you should at least do your homework before
spouting off.

My new Grand Vitara has Suzuki accessory fit, driving lamps, mounted in the
bumper some 250mm below the main head lights and they are not wired to the
main beam dip switch. They have an independent switch for on or off.

How do these fit into this discussion.....are they legal as they do not
switch with the main lights and they are lower than the head lights.
