External temperature display

Afternoon all

I have finally found what the other button is for next to the odometer - to change between Celsius and Fahrenheit (I've been pressing it for months to no avail).

I don't have a temperature displaying on the odometer though. Was this an optional extra, and if so can a sensor be fitted and activated?

I have searched threads on here, but not really got very far as several people have just bought an aftermarket one and stuck it over the clock.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I believe it was for the Canadian market

if u do a search on here there's quiet abit of info on it

is there anything in ur owners manual

Ah ok thanks, I'll do some more digging later.

No, there was no mention of it in my user manual. I was looking at a user manual in the RAVE collection of files, and it was in that one. Optional accessories were marked with an astrix, however the temp display wasn't. Which led me to think maybe mine was just faulty.

Just for North American market unfortunately.

I replaced the clock because I could not see it and fitted an external temp gauge as well.

Did you use an oem sensor and wiring or something else. Thanks
