Freelander 1 Exterior window trim

My FL1 suffers like many others with the exterior window trim bubbling out of shape due to the metal strip inside going rusty following water ingress , new ones are expensive and used ones I have seen are no better than the ones on my FL
Does anyone know if there any other alternative options to solve the issue ?

I am also looking for a drivers front door lock actuator if anyone has one for sale
