Exhaust temperature sensor bank 1 number 2

My Discovery 5 refuses to regen. ive had the Dpf cleaned but I’m now back to a blocked dpf.
When I look at the exhaust temperatures bank 1, sensor 2 has zero degrees. Sensors 1 and 3 rise.
Can any one tell me which is bank 1, sensor 2?

Yes but no joy. I think it’s the O2 lamda sensor. When I disconnected the sensor downstream of the DPF I got out of bounds errors on sensor 4. I had replaced the sensor immediately upstream of the DPF. No change. So that must be sensor 3. Hence O2 sensor 2 with sensor near turbo as sensor 1.
I replaced the sensor immediately upstream of the DPF having watched a YouTube video which proved misleading. Having watched the video I believed a bad sensor had Infinite resistance. Open Circuit. Whilst a good sensor would show a resistance across the two terminals.
This is not the case. Having still in my possession the old sensor I decided to apply heat to the tip using a gas soldering iron with the hot air tip. Sure enough, during heating the resistance dropped from infinite to something readable. I’ve now bought a removal tool to get the O2 sensor out whereupon I can test it. Meanwhile the wife is not too happy as I’m using her car.

Hi! Did you manage to find which sensor it was? I've changed my Nox sensor as it said it was that, now have fault code for bank 1 sensor 2 but can't get a clear picture of where it is.

Better read the code with a dedicated diagnostic tool cos it will point give you the specific sensor's name, that generic "bank 1 sensor 2" code doesnt help...it's only one exhaust gas temp sensor so if the code is about the EGT sensor then that's it(nr 10):

Wiring diagram tells me it is a 2 pin green connector LHS rear of engine.
But as Sierra says you really need a proper code reader.
I was initially told, for all models, Exhaust sensors work back from engine with 1 being nearest but diagrams do not bear that out ?
