I have a Ex MOD Recon Land Rover 2.5 na diesel engine from Withams to put in my Defender 90.
The engine was assembled in 2009, it would appear to have been bench tested reading the emission report that came with the engine.
I intend to fit a new cam belt, oil the rockers, add new oil, if it was a petrol engine, due the length of time its been standing I would put some oil in the pistons a few days before via the spark plug holes. Whats the easiest way to do this on a diesel engine, can you add some oil via the glow plugs?
