Hi there
I am trying to fit a reversing light switch into my landy, and where the switch is supposed to screw in there is just a 20mm plug.
Do I need some kind of reducer or with it being ex MOD is it not possible to do?

Many thanks

It won't be 20mm. I think it's a BSP size. Take the bolt out and put the standard switch in there. I did on mine.

Oh, put some threadlock on as well. Mine fell out!

Hi Sp00k
The plug is definitely 20mm diameter. My next question is am I looking in the right place to fit it. Looking from the passenger side down between the seats with the floor plate removed it's at the bottom left corner.
Will take a pic might be easier.

Incidentally, although I fitted a switch, I don't have a reversing light.

I've found most people seem to get the idea and mive out of the way pretty quickly.

Where confusion might arise, I switch on my rear worklights.

I got the reversing light and fog lighr as part of a kit,and being a yorkshire man didn't want it going to waste lol

I did this to mine a while ago and am happy to take photos of it, on mine the wiring to the back was there already and all I had to make was a small loom to go from the switch to an ignition live up on the engine side of the bulkhead

Was easy
