Well Wife sadly says I cant run 3 cars and be out of work....don't know whats she's complaining about!!
So the 90s up for sale...200TDI conversion (Done Before I got)
Its an Ex MOD and Manufactured 1987 but as per the Log Book 1st Registered 1993 thus E Reg.
It had quite a bit spent on it but only on the inside when I got it....and this still could be improved on in my opinion but the exterior had a very wrough pain job...
I have re-painted in "autobiography" style two tone...top gloss black and lower Rover Boots Blue and although not the best it does get a lot of attention and has good pressence on the road.
Its also had:-
New PAS Pump and Steering BOX
New Spats (Wheel arches)
New Aluminium rear side Windows, slide opening and light tint.
New Side Steps
New Lights all round in clear inc Crystal head lights/Bessels, Headlight surrounds and front grill and a high level brake light in back window.
LED lights (DRL) in front bumper.
Toad Cat 1 Alarm/Imobilizer and Central locking!
New Mono Steering Wheel.
New "Bucket" Seats leather look.....
Leather Dash trim....was fitted before I got and not fitted great...but looks OK.
Full DIY service..."all" oil and filters inc new Glow Plugs.
Full chassis Wax Oil
Replaced bonnet for lighter Ali one as had Steel being Ex MOD.
Spare wheel bolted to bulkhead with new black cover.
7" Screen Radio, Sat Nav with bluetooth hands free, Video Player and Reverse Cam (Very Handy)
New Door Hinges and Bonnet
New Door Seals
Door operated interior lights and manual overide switch (LED strip x 2)
New Mud flaps all round and mounts.
New Battery
New Wiper Arms with Auro Blades
List goes on and on....if it had a V8 I'd keep it and sell both my Jags....
I will take LOADS of hi qual pics with my Cannon soon as I can as loads done to it since some of the picture on here...but this is it....

I'm not realy in any rush to sell.....more the wife pushing.....and its hard to put a price on it.....Its had 1000s spent on it and to me it looks like a £20k truck....but its not obviously....there are truck that "look" the same for £80k but that was the intension....and I think I acheived it in the most part....its still 30 years old!!! Sometimes that means its worth more......but its worth what someones willing to pay....its a classic after all and "book" prices do not apply.....
I think any offer over £8k would be a reasonable one....its a good and so far reliable good looker!
I've always wanted one and I can at least now say I have had one....as I already said which I know a lot of Land Rover owners can't understand....but if it had a Rover 3.5 in it I'd keep it and thats nothing against the 300 or 200 TDIs they are great but I'd rather put a lot of petrol in and get noise that I like!
I know the 3.5 all too well......and for me a V8 sound can not be beat with the right exhaust system, take your V6s, V10s, V12 and W12 etc still think a V8 is best!
Not working due to health means I need a 4x4/AWD for winter (live up in't thills tha knows) but do little miles.....school runs mainly and so a Merc AMG CLS or jag XK is what I plan to replace the 90 and my 2011 XF with....with as much BHP as I can afford!!!
The Supercharged CLS 55 AMG 500BHP is so far top of the list.....nothing comes close for BHP for money in the rather tight age bracket....Must be a 55 plate or newer...but no newer than 23rd March 2006...So I can put my R0"55"Y plate on but still have the cheap (well as it can be) road tax.
If there is no interest on here then it will go on fleebay......but the XF is being prepped 1st...MOT in morn which being only 6 yrs young it should fly through....
I also have an X Type Jag 2.5 V6 AWD...but before you all laugh as most do.....let me tell you its a fantastic car for what I paid and for 15 years old drives like new and I mean that....may not be cheap on fuel but its cheap to run with it sharing 5% machanicals with a Mondeo...i.e. front discs and pads £40!! I've fitted the same Sat Nav unit thats in the 90...so its actualy a better spec than the XF and altho the XF is a fantastic car and very very quick for a oil burner I preffer driving the X Type!!
So keeping that for the winter months and tootling about in....and all being well a V8 beast for, well the rest of the time/Sunday Car!!!

What I would say is...if anyone is "genuinly" interested in the 90....come and see it...hear it and either drive it or let me take you out in it....then and only then will you know what you're willing to pay for it!!

I've actualy thought of keeping and putting an American V8 in for a laugh....its been done already.....but its too good as is to mess with....

Yes I have an Ecectric roller Garage door and it needs to be pushed up about an 1" by hand or the 90 catches it!! Hense the reminder.....:)

Being from an IT background I have personalised the SAT NAV unit.....the load screen its of the 90 I based mine on....and the ARROW is actualy a Jeep....
Blue rings on wheels are tape and can be removed...though I think it looks fantastic...its ment for Motor bikes RIM TAPE....and its reflective so looks even bettrer at Night!!!

Any other questions just ask...but be quick as will be going on Ebay and expect it to go quite quickly....it has about 7 months MOT no advisories!
An entire folder full of paperwork and reciepts and that before I got it, most if not all I bought is off ebay and will be provided.....but well over £3000 spent just be me and the seats were new and £400 ish before I got it too....all roof etc and side is like a fake alcantera and done by previous owner.....it could have been done much neater but still looks good.
It auto lock after 5 Seconds of starting and unlock as soon as the ignition is off...all 3 doors, I like this as I have Twins and did not want them opening the back door!! The Alarm is programmable for all sorts and this can be turned off. I have two "blippers" but currently only one set of keys. I will try and get another set cut for the new owner!

Don't get drawn in by traders asking daft money for tratters on eBay. They pay pennies for ads waiting for mugs to come along.
 
You've spent a good few quid mate, but getting anywhere near it back is not gonna happen. Don't mean to be unkind but the hand painted blue dash etc is not everyone's cuppa. I'm guessing you've got a 5500 to six grands worth. Sorry

It got no bids at 5500 starting price and reserve not met. Then it made 3550 with a lower start price, still reserve not met.

I think the ebay description is rambling, much as it is here. It needs sorting and the spelling corrected. It will put many off as it is. The low gearing will too.
 
Are you selling it to raise fundage, or because you can't afford to run it along with your other cars? If you don't need the cash from selling it, why not just SORN it?
 
ALL the checker was removed for paint so NO powder anywhere....drivers door and the back door are not the "smoothest" but its over 30 years old!!!
I'd let it got for 6k absolute min as stands me a hole lot more than that. but if not, I'll just keep it.....there's a lot more in a lot worse state for more money...and not all are traders...
Most say the paint job makes it....This is up at £73,000!!!
