Evening Pub Meet: Hampshire, Surrey, Berks.

Hi all

I am arranging a LandyZone pub meet. If it works out then maybe we can do on in the central southern counties every month, moving it around so people from further afield can make them occasionally.

So for the first one:-

Date: Thursday 1st July, 7:30 onwards

Place: Crown and Cushion/Mead Hall- Minley Road, Junction 4a of the M3.

GU17 9UA - Google Maps

It's got a large car park and OK drinks, so wandering and gawping at each others Landys will be do-able.

I also thought it would be a good Landy-Coloured Swap Shop event so anyone got spares they want to swap or sell on can bring them along (not trailers full unless you're taking them along for someone else to collect).

So hope to see lots of you there!

Oh, I've got a Noel Edmunds....or is it an Edmund Hillary, no wait on, it might be a Noel Gordon. Anyway, I dun't want it no more & it fits a Gaylander. Want to swap it fer a Hattie Jacques or a Joyce Grenfell.

Anyone?

Oh POOOOOOO!!, that's the same night as another Landy group meet. Might see if they all want to visit another pub instead.

An there's a lot of them in Bracknell forest I can tell ya. You'll only need to really worry if you get followed home and they'd have to follow me a bloody long way home, I think I'd notice. Been through all that before when I rode motorbikes

and me. know the pub well, i spent many a night in the surrounding areas, the one by the sailing lake is a simply awesome training area

the Lake is where we used to train the kids basic Kayaking skills. Tiz a nice paddle.
