Hey guys. Fitted steering guard today. Got CB to sort out hopefully end of the week.

Should be up for more fun soon :D

THats good, yeah a CB os really needed when playing, great source of info and of course the odd bit of banter.

I just ordered my Bearings today, so when they arrive got to get them done, lol

Found yourself a wing and indicator yet.

:rolleyes:Stu, what time do you leave for work:D

Once it was cleaned up it didn't look too bad.
I've also increased the ground clearance under my steps - really is time they came off;)

I have no weekends free for the next fortnight and working all daylight hours. So its @ the garage in a corner (didn't want to leave it on the road in current condition) and when when they get time between jobs it'll be beaten out. One of the chaps down their breaks rusty Disco's so 2nd hand parts (inc alternator) shouldn't be an issue. Just means my snorkel fund will be reduced:(

Once someone local starts to break a dark blue D1, i'll replace the wing, until then, beaten out it will stay.

Where is this guy who breaks landrovers? Have you tried rgb near Brentwood? He probably has all the bits you need and in the right colour.

Depending on weather, I may take a drive up to Debenham ford on Saturday. I've got the keep the kiddies entertained. they not into laning (too bumpy) but i think they would enjoy driving up a river.

Last time i went, it was 6 - 8 " but it hadn't rained in ages. could be a bit higher now?

Probably a bit higher. Had quite a lot of rain :D

Nice to hear you got the Disco fixed. It's not a too bigger job. Wings just unbolt so it's not the end of the world ;)

Maybe you need to treat yourself to a wrap-around bull bar now

I'm not a fan of bull bar's. But I am now on the lookout for a HD or winch bumper. I fear my one is a lot weaker now its already been bent once. come to mention it I don't think it was very strong before i bent it:doh:

So if anyone has one for sale - please PM me.
Must be wrap around - something like this would be nice: LINK
