What about meeting at 12 at White Notley where we normally meet and perhaps have a quick lunch and a pint before we set off.

Whats the deal with the Suffolk meet? laning day, pub meet , or just a group hug. guess you wont make it to do some laning tomorrow then

Suffolk has a driving day at least once a month at their own off road course, but you have to be a member of SLROC to go, you can be a passanger tho.

I also got the kids in the afternoon.

Fingers crossed I will be able to join you. I need to tighten my crank shaft pully, before we set off, it's rattling around like a nun in a cucumber field. and I have to be back by 2pm (I will be getting up about 10am if you want a tea in my field -----(ain't got a driveway)

How did it go today guys

I went and had a look at the courses at suffolk, and they look quite good so will be going there next meeting.

Hi Stu, I thought you were gonna be driving the course today.

Well after a shaky start the day went very well indeed. We found a few lanes we have not done before and ended the day with a pint and chips.

Looking forward to the 28th Now.

If you got some time Chris, when theres a driving day go and have alook at suffolks course.

Did not realy have time for that, wish I had, by the time I got there, and then had to pick up the kids, there was not enough time to get scrutineered, and have a good play so had a woddle and a peek at it, will be going on the next driving day tho.
Good thing is if my oldest being 14 can join and drive as well, as long as a member sits beside her.

Have a look on thier website, it seem to me on sunday that they are very family orienated and encorage familys. They even run Youth trials as well.

I am joining my little one when I renew my membership.

Thanks I'll keep an eye on the thread.

I got myself a few local OS maps and tested some lanes south of Colchester / around Bromley all very tame. Also found had a look at one between Gosfield and Braintree but once in the woods i backed out, didnt fancy getting stuck on my own
