i'd agree, the auto I already have is a very civilised ride, shame I cant use that, but I did buy it for the wife (sort of)
would you say that manuals have more issues than auto's, they have a duel mass fly wheel don't they ?

I have looked at a few and i'm quite interested,
but I've got to understand the TD5 a fair bit after a marathon session or two on the one I have,
already have a nanocom for it and getting a little extra power out of it is quite easy.
got thrown in at the deep end as this was my first diesel, always been a petrol head before.
but I won't discount the 300.
just got to sell a couple of bikes now.
Although I've driven quite a few manuals and I know lots of people favour them my own is an auto which have used for day to day driving, gentle off roading (only once though cos I know how expensive the front bumpers are ) and quite a bit of towing. Yes they do have a dual mass flywheel but I don't think this is a common problem, wear in the bias plate is common but an easy fix. Hope this helps.
