My truck ;) ;) passed its MOT today. :D

It looks a right state with faded paint and bodywork damage but the mechanic complimented it on being mechanically sound and was even shocked at the low emmisions, they were 0.18, the maximum allowed is 1.5

Shows what a good service can achieve. :)

Only problem was a brake light, the only thing I forgot to check, so for £5.99  I brought one and tried to change it there, but after 10 minutes struggling he gave me a pass as he knew the first thing I'd do is get the holder back in.

Had to take the rear seat out and half hour after getting home it was done. Why couldn't it be a simple fix like a wheel bearing or something!

Picked up my Disco TD5 today :D

WELL CHUFFED!

Just needs a full machine polish and correction. Few little plastic bits sorting and a couple of panel gaps adjusting. Will move across the cb, light bar, wind deflectors and my front steel bumper over the coming weeks.

This is going to be a road car so not offroading for this one!

Why buy a disco then
Should have got yourself a gaylander if your not going off road :p

I bet its on a green lane within the month......

Already has been on a lane    Had to test the suspension didn't I??? Some nice lanes around Birmingham :)

In terms of the gaylander...... far too small and far too gay

TD5 one it has been fiddled will be great for towing. Seems a lot more refined than the 300 which is to be expected. For the extra money; it was worth spending!

Full main dealer history and everything lol.

But no, the intention is not to lane it (until everything has been checked :D).

Does the LRO Peterborough show have a good auto jumble? And is anyone planning on going on the Sunday?
I'm karting Saturday but fancy going up and having a butchers as its not far away

Depends, it I get a good offer I'll sell it. It's the hassle of selling it and finding a replacement car that I can't be arsed with. Plus it'll cost more cause no doubt I'll but something that's worth more and more to insure

I had a look yesterday and couldn't see it listed?
I'm booked in (and have paid) for sudbury to the sea that weekend.

But could do with making some money.
