Put your bits in the for sale section, guy was after a warn winch earlier, and a guy pm me for my +2 shocks so I told him to look at your complete suspension for sale. Most of those bits will fly away. Was tempted by the tranny box but I really can't see me fitting It any time soon plus not got the know how.

just get one you know I will help/show you how to do it you can change some seals and bearings then fit in a month or 2, its about 5 hours work to swap over and can be done in bits over a day or 2. I made a jack cradle for them so there is no lifting involved ( other than getting it out the boot :p)

its a shame another motor is being broken up especially if lots has been done and its not being used or finished.

Bloody hell James now you got me thinking and tempted again. Thing is I was looking at a front Detroit true trak LSD fitted in a recon diff, I'm waiting on an answer from the guy, can't warrant buying both at the moment.

save your money for an ashcroft in the rear, dont buy LSD for off road, especially on a landrover they only pass some of the drive to both wheels and rely on wheel spinning to transfer power, and we all know what happens to landrover drive train when you spin the wheels !

Going to look at a Shogun this saturday, hopefully it will be a goodun, 3.0 petrol so will have a bit of grunt although water will be fun. It comes with tyres, snorkel and lift so will be ready for use hopefully...

So whens the next laning trip gonna be, wanna try out the rice roader...

Just have plenty of WD40 on board lol

Im hoping I can make a good attempt at waterproofing it, plenty of grease, rubber gloves, cable ties and silicon should help the cause although Violets will be a totally different experience now! Still, plenty of power compared to the Defender and rear locker as standard so should fare well in the muddy stuff... oh and heaters, door seals, decent lights and comfy seats, that will all be nice... will miss the 90 though but this ones a good bit cheaper

Saturday 16th (daytime).

Cool beans, will be ready for then... this is the one I am hopefully getting if it turns out to be OK, looking forward to V6 power!!
