Well went out a did a few lanes this afternoon, friend wanted to go she tagged along and her fella took his new purchase. Probably around fifteen lanes we did in total I'd say.
Glad I went as it was a lovely day and good to get the OS map out and remind myself where the lanes are. Nothing challenging but as there was only two vehicles and they are both standard that is a good thing.
Only took a couple of photos so here they are.

Going up the sand covered lane instead of down it for a change:

Why I'm glad it was dry, don't think it would recover the Disco too well:

Did make an interesting find on the exit of one lane:

Owner came out while I was looking at it. Turns out it used to be a standard 110 with a chery picker on it used by the council. He bought it 6 years ago and had the tipper fitted, then was persuaded to have the extra axle added. Was featured in LRO magazine a few years back apparently.
Used to run 6wd but he disconnected the rear prop as it was eating tyres.

Well, Sunday should be interesting.

Still up after a box of magners and a few V&Ts.

Would like to go to players show or do a few green lanes when we get home tomorrow lunch time.

Had a few insurance issues on the new Landy which should be sorted by of the end of the week so the disco is still on be road. Albeit a little bit lighter!
Anyone about for an evenings laning, maybe Wednesday?

I'll check with the missis, what our plans are the weekend before, but I can't do after the 11th as I'll be starting my new job :5bhurray:

Had a great day at my in-laws today. They had a Willow tree that had the main section blow down earlier this year, but one of the taller bits was left hanging in the direction of the house and they were going to pay for a tree surgen to take it down.
Managed to cut / pull it in the right direction, one snapped rope but no harm down.
Need to get my winch fitted, would have made the job a lot easier.
