Thanks mate, mr floyd has got one i can try my cb with, thankyou for the offer though.I got an aerial n mag mount ya can borrow but wont be out laning.Gis a shout if yer need it.
Of course it is ok.
Because I expect it to be a little wet & muddy.....
Everyones got recovery points etc etc....!
We can always pull you through!!! Some of the lanes are tricky but like i say, we all have towing equipment, makes it more interesting!!! Better wait to see what hilux4x4 says.I've got a M Reg Disco Petol on Road tyres and standard (Old) Suspension.
Will there be any lanes I should not be trying on your planned route?
I have 2 x Shackles on the rear where the delivery points used to be, and a couple of round shackles on the front bumper, secured onto the Bullbar.
I have a steering guard but no Diff guards as yet.

I recovered off the bull bar once.I say once cos i didnt get the chance to do it again. Was well n truely stuck with kinsomlin, tied onto the bull bar and ripped the ****er off.Took out me indicator and left a nice sized dent in the bonnet too.Would recomend jate rings cos there cheap n easy to fit.And two spreads the load or use one front ojne back.Simples!I've got a M Reg Disco Petol on Road tyres and standard (Old) Suspension.

Rears make more sense at least you know where ya have been is firm enough. The rears are Jate rings I think, Big Square shape with a bolt through the top holding them to chassie.
The Fronts are the rounder ones, quite big and have been used a few times. If the mud is too deep, I simply wont go in. No point If I know I wont make i.
More the merrier as far as I'm concerned.
Eddies right though some are a little tricky, when we last done em they were solid dry & very very scratchy......lol.
That last lane Ed where it just got narrower and narrower as the bushes came in.....! .
Violets lane could be ...well.....wet.
