Hi Folks
Just had discussions with a Freelander Auto 'box reconditioning company. Can take your box out, strip & rebuild for £1600
, including new torque converter - cheaper than £3300 !
They also state that this is becoming a common problem , exaccerbated by the 'box overheating. They suggest an external oil cooler to reduce the chance of it happening again....
Any thoughts - you folks?
