erroer code

hi
plugged my icarsoft in today and came up with error code p0263 cylinder balance
it will clear the fault but when car is re started it come back again
anyone else had this or know what the cure is
looked on internet and found these but don't know where to start
Dirty Fuel Injector 1
- Faulty Fuel Injector 1
- Plugged Fuel Injector 1
- Fuel injector 1 harness is open or shorted
- Fuel injector 1 circuit poor electrical connection

any info greatly appreciated before taking it to the garage

First, clean the electrical connectors, then try a bottle of injector cleaner

cheers will try that and see if it improves or clears the fault

could also try swapping injectors 1 and 2 round, see if the fault follows, then you can tell if it's the wiring or the injector

had a mess about today and tried a few things to no avail even tried getting no 1 injector out but it aint budging and I don't wanna do any damage so its off to local landy garage specialist on Friday for a check over be intresting to see what he finds

Kevins: How did you get on at the landy garage regarding the cylinder inbalance error code on your icarsoft?

What freelander have you got?

Where did you find the error code, what section of the icarsoft program did you run?

I ask because Ive just picked up an icarsoft cr plus (2nd generation diagnostic tool).

Last week I had car connected to an 'Auto Logic diagnostic tool' at landy garage and cylinder balance error popped up.

Today I connected the 'icarsoft cr plus' and couldnt find the same error code.

I havent done any work to the injectors yet.
