At the moment they don't suit everybody, but for the average person they are fine. They just have to adjust the way they think 
My car has been serviced once in the last year. No other problems (unlike my Freelander I sold) Just plug it in at night and I have a full tank for work the next day. No need to stop at a petrol station any more.
