How does that manage with (I presume) the standard 100L tank ?
Don’t care
Depends how you “hooligan” it
But it can be easy single digit. But also not much worse than the standard 4.6 if your good to it.

The 6.3 was only used in the 25th anniversary model yes
So you can get double digits out of it?Depends how you “hooligan” it

many thks, heard that ref the 8 x speed, must admit have the 6x speed zf and that’s really nice
Are there any bad issues with The jag 4.4 petrol version that ur aware of plse
indeed ref electrics , can just be one bad connector that causes havoc to the canbus
@gstuart, your on the hunt for one aren't you....

The Jag engine is absolutely sublime but occasionally the coolant pipe between the V goes bang.
In pure cost terms, mine on lpg is equivalent to doing around 30 mpg on petrol alone but we have pretty cheap lpg up here.dam it , I’ve been found out, lol
have been looking for a V8 4.4 D3, will have to be an auto, I made a huge mistake by test driving one Lol, , OMG what an awesome beast, however the ones I’ve seen were a pile of crap, apart from the engine I knew what I was looking at and was amusing listening the crap I was being told as I parked my D3 just up the road so they didn’t know what I turned up in , sneaky u see, snigger
don’t mind if I spend a year looking for one a good one as I want to keep it at least 5 x years , had this one 4 x years already
Am also questioning ref the LPG , if to get one with or without it , inc if it did have LPG is what the costs are vs without
plus wish to get one under 100,00 miles
will also like to spend time learning about the 4.4 as would hate to get one with a known fault that if I get abit of knowledge behind me I’ll know what to look out for
many thks as always

I can get about 80l in the tank when it's stone empty and that does around 250 miles. Probably a small amount of petrol use during that on the odd occasion I floor it and when it's cold so in reality it's possibly around 220-230 miles on 80litres.
You can feel a slight reduction in performance on lpg but it's still pretty quick.
I was warned that using it without flashlube would kill it but it didn't have it and I didn't have time or inclination to fit it.
No idea how many miles it did on lpg before I bought it but I've done over 30k in it and it's now getting close to 140k on the clock and still no issues.
It is a fabulous engine and the NA one doesn't have the pipe in the vee to burst.
It's not the gruntiest engine I've ever used at the bottom end but it absolutely sings at anything above 2.5k rpm.
Bloody hell, that's clean!!! Is it a new one!?!??!
