Brake & Clutch cleaner has been working really well for me in a little hand spray bottle. You can see the oil dripping off without even agitating it.
Order a 5l tin, and it's not too expensive, but also doesn't need water.

eurocarparts brake part cleaner 500ml spray £2 (or £1 if you have an account) get a scores worth, no water required and *bonus* its under pressure..................... and it evaporates afterwards, it gets to bits you cant get a brush to, change the nozzle and fit a straw (like WD) if needs be,

I stopped using degreaser and water about 10 years ago..;)

i like brake clean i get it by the gallon but its for finishing off ,not dirt busting like a pressure washer, ideally you want a hot pressure washer that can apply degreaser mixed with full pressure jet like mine but cold and paraffin or similar works well

Loads of crud up in flywheel, is it OK to fire the jet wash up there ? Think ive got all holes ect covered, is there anything else I should be careful of ?
Clutch seems OK but gonna put brand new one back in.

About as Clean as I could get it, Just about ready to drop in,
Not sure weather to drop it in first before fitting clutch and Gear Box as I will be on my own, think it might be easier to drop Engine in first.
