Thanks i will try to get my head around it all. I think the oil i already have will be OK but not sure about it only being semi synthetics and not full synthetics. Just as long as the viscosity and spec are right you'll be fine, i think most semi synth 5w/30 meet A1 B1 so it will meet land rover min spec ok pal
£0 at the moment.....
Still got a load of Castrol RS sitting around after a sponsorship deal, though Ive not put any in the Discovery yet, I assume its ok as its a 0W/40 fully synthetic race oil.
