thanks for offer mate which the pipes that are conncted to th egr valve. i dont see how changing plugs can cause this if all was ok before we started.it would not be because i have 3 different brands of glow plugs in would it ?mines been plugged in, injection start control, fault code 144
so where do i need to look? thanks p.s, you do realise its an l-seriesFor those that don't know it, code 144 is.....
O2 sensor circuit high voltage (bank 1 sensor3)
so where do i need to look? thanks p.s, you do realise its an l-series
mines been plugged in, injection start control, fault code 144
but there's only a wire to number 1 cylinder???
99 l seriesare we getting confused here?
what year is the car? it is probably obd not obd 2
02 sensor circuit is an obd 2 code isn't it and wouldn't apply to an l series diesel.
so the code is likely to be vehicle specific
i should make it clear i don't know much about about on board diagnostics but from what i've read pre 2003 diesels were not required to be eobd compliant and as such can have their own fault code systems.mines been plugged in, injection start control, fault code 144
does this happen about a second before the light comes on like mine???? will be the management going into limp mode!so would this make it jerk now and then is it one ofth sensors go down never had any think like this until i changed plugs
the misfire is the ecu going into limp mode i think!!!! mine happens when sat at a constant throttle for around 10ish seconds!strange????
The misfire and loss of power only comes on at speeds of 45-50mph?
