Engine immobilisation light

Hi everyone, first post and not sure if this is the right place but need some help.

Was out on a drive friday and out of nowhere the engine immobilisation light came on. Got home taking it easy as i didn't know exactly what the light meant but i guessed it was something to do with the immobiliser, which we haven't ever really used due to it never really working. Looked through the manual and had a good look online but i have not found the same problem anywhere.

The engine immobilisation light has came on as a constant light, not flashing as the manual and online seems to have the problem with. There is no problem with starting the car, it runs fine and our local garage hasn't even seen the light before!

Hi I'm new on this site. I have exactly the same issue. Basically the light came on last year, followed by other issues and then after several weeks the engine refused to start. I swapped over the 10AS alarm immobiliser module with a reconditioned second hand unit. I could then start the car normally and all the functions associated with the 10AS such as automatic interior lights and alarm arming and disarming and flashing LED worked normally. But alas, still this confounded engine immobilisation light still stays on! The light gets a 12v supply through the ignition switch on one side and should have 12V coming from the 10AS so the bulb as no volts across it. As far as I can see, when the engine is immobilised, the 10AS box should make the lamp flash!

Has anyone any idea?
