Engine breather pipework...

Yes, I'd agree with this. Although where does the distributor vacuum advance pipe usually attach? I know it's a small bore tube, but I've not quite worked out where I'm supposed to attach mine, yet (not that I've actually spent many brain cycles looking at it so far).
I believe it attaches here. ...

Thanks for the replies about the disti advance connection. I've got a.Webber fitted, and hadn't noticed a port on the carb body. There's a tapped hole in the 90 degree adapter between the carb and the manifold, but that's currently blocked off.

The pervious owner had fitted a different Webber for a Fiat, and that seems to have had lots of ports over it, mostly blanked off. I replaced this with the Weber that seems to be a common replacement on Landies (can't remember the actual model number) for less than the cost of a rebuild kit for the 'Fiat' carb(!), and I'd not yet worked out where to attach the vacuum pipe. I guess I may need to fit a port to the adapter.

I wonder if yours actually has a different distributor fitted? Mines a 2 1/4 petrol and didn’t have the vacuum advance on the dizzie & I replaced with an electronic one that doesn’t have one either.

Yes, you're quite correct. I do have that port there - I was looking on the wrong side. Many thanks. I think the 'Fiat' carb had the port on the engine side, which threw me. I obviously need a longer bit of hose than I thought I would, to run right around/over the engine.

Nice lights, by the way...look very neat.

@Birdbrain I had replaced by old clockwork dizzy with an electronic one, but both had vacuum advance inlets (or is that an outlet, given it's a vacuum?!)
