Electronic ignition on 2.25 Petrol

Has anyone fitted the electronic ignition?? i have a 2.25 petrol engine and it seems like a good upgrade for 15 quid
what are peoples experiences?

I tried the £15 britpart electronic points replacement. It didn't work, then one of the plastic bits snapped trying to get it to work

I put an electronic dizzy on from simonbbc (google them) for about £45 and it's been way better ever since

I was their Scottish sales rep.

I had a look at Lumenition kits, do they run on 24v to? auto electrics isnt my strong point
