Hi all new to landy world I've just got a 02 freelander electric system not perfect brake lights work when no main lights on. when on .back lights just stay on with no brighter brake lights when braking .all so sometimes dials don't work any ideas or do I get it on a diagnostics to find out

Does the centre brake light work?

Have you checked the bulbs and bulb holders?

Have you got a multimeter?

Sounds like a bad earth

Or the tail light bulbs in the wrong way round.

Yes rear tail and all lights work just don't get brighter when braking when main lights are on but do when main lights are off also no interiors work.all exterior bulbs work . Not checked connection yet ??
