OPen the Front doors, carefull fold the rubber finisher seal to the side and you'll see a few Philips screws, no need to remove the door seal as from memory the screws may go through it!...undo these and Roberts your Mothers Brother....

Offical way is to use a credit card or similar to slide under the strip and slide the white plastic clips to the side to allow removal - the only problem is I can't remember which way you have slide the clips!

That is for the top trim Ant bottom trim clips go in holes and cannot be moved. You have to slide the trim off the clips. :)

lol! ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

now i feel dumb, just kinda presumed!! :p

You ain't the first. When I first got mine I thought the same then realised I only had it on one side. A bit of digging showed it was connected to the RF unit and then realisation dawned. Higher models have one on each side, I think. Maybe my stereo is only mono?!

But if one aerial is picking up the right signal and the other is picking up the left what happens when you turn around and drive the other way?

I know this was posted to get a funny response but I am going to give the correct response....

The Radio uses Diversity....i.e. Two aerials, but only one is actually used at any one time.... The system monitors both aerials and uses the one with the strongest signal....

Funny replies may follow now.......:D

Update..

Windscreen defo heats on the RHS, both relays click!! So will check the wires at each end (and Middle)

Mirrors: Voltages at both mirrors with engine running. Checked for continuity on the Mirror elements. None on the left, tiny on the right. Assume both are buggered.

Only one aerial used on UK and European cars. R/H rear. Two on Jap and NAS cars. Couldn't think of a funny punch line though. :D:D:D
