Electrical problem freelander 1

First You need to check the motor and regulator (cables) for the rear door (tailgate) window. The beeps are telling you there is a problem with it.

Bonjour a tous et merci de votre aide, sur 10 forum posté et 5 concessionnaires land rover contacté, c'est les seul réponses que j'ai eu ici, , après 12 Heures de recherche problème résolu ....ouf grâce a montiloto ,île de la réunion, Boîtier de fusible de Land Rover Freelander TD4 - "Mon ti loto" après un petit lifting.... , j'ai démonté la boite des fusibles, enlevé les CI, coupé toute les pattes , et j'ai trouvé 2 soudures sans contacte. je remonte le tout, pas facile, tout fonctionne sauf vitre hayon et fermeture centralisé, je continu mes recherches, :::: sur le relais dans le coffre qui commende la vitre du hayon, je trouve un 12V sur un fil, je coupe un petit fil du relais et j'y met le 12V; miracle la vitre se ferme, je rebranche les fils comme ils doivent être normalement, ..... tout fonctionne , je me suis amusé a le faire 20 fois en prenant mon pieds même avec le bouton ouverture et fermeture hayon sur le tableau de bord. il me reste plus qu'a voir le non fonctionnement de la fermeture centralisé. je pense avoir fait une économie de plus de 1000 - 1500 euros si j'étais passé par un concessionnaire, car pour un RDV = 140+ changé la boite fusible 700 + main d'œuvre .................+.....+.....

Hello everybody and thanks for your help. Out of 10 forum posts and 5 visits to main dealers this is the only reply i got. After searching for 12 hours i fixed the problem. thanks to Moniloto, reunion Island, (click on link on original post above for the story) I dismounted the fuse box took off the "CI" (integrated circuit ???) cut off all the legs and i found 2 bad solder joints. Put it all back together (not easy) every thing works except the rear window and central locking. the search continues. On the relay in the boot that controls the rear window i found 12 Volts on a wire - i cut a small wire off the relay and fed it with 12 V directly - miracle the window closed. So i put the wires back as they should be and everything was OK. Now i just have to fix the central locking.
I think i saved more than 1000 euros doing this myself

So he didnt fix the central locking yet but it seems the main issue was bad connections in the fuse box and "maybe" a bad wire / connection on the famous relay in the boot.

Just look for bad soldered joints in the fuse box !!
