I could bloody kiss you Mick!!!!! All ordered, thank you so much

No problem. I will hopefully have mine working next week. It’s one of the last jobs before the floors can go down and the internal rebuild work can start!

Once I get that plug in, my missus will stop moaning because the rear tub will be out of her way lol... I have just started to build a wiring loom, can’t be that hard.... can it:eek:

It isn’t that hard if you take your time and do it methodically. I didn’t build my current loom, but it is far from a standard 110 200tdi loom. It’s easy enough to do, just make sure you know what each wire is doing, or meant to be doing.

That’s the plan, I’m starting with the engine first so in theory I can turn the ignition and it starts, then work on all the additional bits, warning lights etc then finish with the actual lights.... I’m thinking the indicators and hazards will be the worst to work out if I’m being honest.

@t0m1980 here is a couple of photos of how mine is connected. It works with the TD5 fuel gauge, but I don’t have the TD5 binnacle fitted yet, so can’t comment on the fuel light. I will update when the binnacle is fitted and tested.

Wow that’s what I need to see, hopefully my plug will turn up today, I might even take tomorrow off to start some wiring, my TD5 dash turned up toso I be got a fair bit to be getting on with, I’ve also just picked up a load wire so no excuses I guess.

I will do, was planning on filling it with a little bit of black silicone and a bit of tape over the top, shame it’s going to be a while before it sees that much water though
