Great thanks
Aftermarket fittings, only the tow bar
not sure how to link the bonnet catch out
yes i have memory seats

Hiya

Here’s a great guide which I hope will help u

https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/robb...n-testing-119574.html?highlight=Battery+drain

Ref the bonnet catch, is on the left hand side , pull off the connector and link it out with a paper clip of short piece of wire

Reason I asked ref memory seats as my module was at fault and causing the residual battery drain

Alas though with 25x ecus can be difficult trying to pin it down

Have u tested to see what kind of Ma draw ur have plse

I made up test leads to check the J fuses

Plse let us know what kind of draw u have first and happy to help u all I can

This is what I started with and after I found the battery drain u can see it dramatically dropped, have dual batteries fitted, before I found the battery drain my batteries were lasting around 18 x days , after they last nearly 30 x days

Wow @gstuart that is amazing! So glad I only have a TD5! And thanks for the other info you have posted, I am sure it will be invaluable to so many LR3 owners.

Many thks, for the kind compliment , suppose I’ve always enjoyed a challenge and how to get round them, maybe all the years spent fault finding boilers and controls put me in good steed with the D3 in learning how to fault find

I did also get myself a tester that finds breaks in wires and also can determine what wire is which in a big wiring loom

There’s certainly a few of them

Indeed hope the info will help others in the future

Thks again
