Electric windows on to 1998 model

Can anyone tell me what's required to get 2007 doors to fit and electrics to work on a 1998 model with manual windows?

so you want td5 doors onto a 300tdi ? or late td5 onto an early td5…….

pretty sure door is same would just need a 2 way switch and a relay or two.

Seen some 2007 doors and want to fit to 1998 model.
Any idea what other bits will be needed?

If its a 300 tdi than the doors are different totally if its a TD5 there will be less differences

the doors are the same you may need to change door catch on tub but thats it an wire them up

just need relays, wire, switch

job done


just seen 1998 !!! no need to change catch just fit an wire up

It may be easier for you to fit an electric window kit to your existing doors. there are a few on the market.

300 and TD5 body shells are different dimensions

I've got TD5 doors on my 200TDi - they fit as well as any Fender doors.

Never crossed my mind that a fender would have any form of creature comfort
