Hi Guys,
I ve just joined the forum and I am looking forward to contributing.
Hope someone can point me in the right direction with an electric mirror problem.
They have worked perfectly for the last 5 years, I have a 2009 model. I took the vehicle for new tyres this morning and when collecting the car from the garage I opened the door with the remote and the doors unlocked but the mirrors remained in the closed position.
I asked the mechanic at the tyre garage if he had messed with anything but he said that he had only used the remote to open and then lock the car.
I find it strange that they were working before I left the vehicle with them.
Any ideas as to why this happenned. The adjustments to move the mirrors are working but there is no noise from the mirror motors, could it be a fuse, I cant find where the fuse is from the spanish handbook.
The only other thing I did was to use the spare keys this morning as I couldnt find the originals.
Thanks in anticipation.

Maybe the spare key isn't set up to fold the mirrors on locking/unlocking.
You'll probably need to set it up via the vehicle settings on the dash display.

Sorry to be so thick, but how do I get into this setting, Ive tried looking but can only adjust settings on the radio. Ive just ordered a handbook in english as the one I have with the vehicle is in spanish, thanks for the reply

From memory. The button on the end of the left hand stalk can be used to access the advanced menu. You use the CC buttons, or possibly the audio buttons to select and enter the various menus.

Ive tried to access the settings by pressing the left hand stalk but it just changes the setting indicating the amount of km to the litre, the only button with a letter C is below the ok button to the right of the radio.
Is it possible that a fuse has gone, in the manual it does not show any fuse for the electric mirrors, all the windows open and close. Perhaps this model is different to the UK ones, although being spanish I assume it is just a european model

I dont know that there is an internal switch as I have only ever used the remote control, both mirrors can be adjusted by the switch on the door but I know of no internal switch and there is not one showed on the handbooks instruments page

Press and hold the Left and Right mirror buttons for a couple of seconds. The mirrors should then fold in. Do the same to make them fold out again. Then test the locking fold, unlocking unfold again.

That has sorted it, as soon as I pressed both switches the mirrors closed and now work again, thanks, really appreciated as it was driving me nuts.
