This is the man, 27 minutes shows the wiring I mentioned above, but well worth watching the whole video for all connectors/tets points etc.
Have seen this corroded wiring mentioned a few times on various forums over the last 5 years or so.

Hi icarsoft v2.0 arrived today.
Load of codes flash up p0091 p0088 p0191

Had a go at resetting all of these but the reappear on start up any ideas where to start?

P codes are power train.
U codes are communication.
C codes are chassis.
B codes are body.

There are also sub-codes, which follow the main code. The sub code gives the reason for the code.
Unfortunately the codes you've posted are missing the sub-code, which makes identifying the reason difficult.

Best to take pic of the screen with the codes and description then post them up.
You will also need the D3 wiring diagram, and get checking as per the video above.

Plot thickens. On start up car sound like a bag of nails and on inspection oil leak from front right off side of engine. Wondering if frost has got the oil pump. My house boiler was frozen this week. This car is testing me!!!

Let's hope it's not throw a rod, or suffered crankshaft failure.

Is there a way of checking if oil pump has failed without stripping out fan and can cover? It looks like a trip to buy tools if I have to do that

When I first did my cambelt I could not get the fan tools in time so made my own from flat bar, pretty much wrecked the diy tools removing the fan, but they did the job.
In your case I would be doing the same, no point throwing good money after bad.
As for access if the car still has air in the susp you might be able to get a look see from underneath but I doubt it.
Just looking at pic and I rekcon top is the way to go.

Took your advice not a lot to loose at the moment went for my tap spanner for difficult taps and 10mm on fan mount with 19mm locked in to stop it rotating and it came off first pull !!! Now off to find a 7mm spanner for all of those fixings before I go any further

Is it a high pitched rattle or a low thumping?

If it sounds that bad but still runs then maybe spun a main bearing?

So going at it from two points . I have the fan out and am ready to look in that direction but first I have taken off sump cover to see if I can track the oil leak . I have attached a rough video . What is the black plastic 3inch cover above the front diff in video it is covered in the oil . The oil is not black as in engine oil. Where next?

Black plastic sounds like cambelt cover?
