okay I blanked my egr and fitted a blank to the correct place of my Egr Modulator, and all was well.
until now, where as my TD5 gets upto temp. the modulator will vibrate really hard.
where have I gone wrong and what do I do to fix it lol
Thanks guys
It's okay I've figured it out!! The EGR Valve Modulator or whatever a dozen different diagrams called it differently (one calling it egr thingy!!) was going nuts as I discovered there was very little coolant and mainly water in the cooling system and it wasn't cutting it in this warm weather.
Still on to the next problem I guess lol
i'm 100% certain that there are D2-s with cooled EGR
Bugger! I've just ordered an EGR removal kit for my 2001 D2....need to check for coolant pipes now :embarrassed:
Diff.
you should be ok as yours'll be a 10p engine.
ok,my td5 is a 2001 on a y plate, got the early fuel cooler, why have i not got the egr cooler then..is it only fitted to the later 10p engine????
the early engines like yours and mine are 10p
the later engines are 15p. it's only fitted to 15p engines AFAIK
