Glad to here you resolved your problem its a shame there are some good Guys out there who make parts at a reasonable price I always look to the Guys on here who have had lots of experience and guide you to the good GuysSince i live abroad i though sod it cut the blanking peice off and fitted it in the egr locked it in place with a new jubilee clip and viola all working great the car, she feels great.
Will be sending the guy nice email about how ****e his parts are.

Most Bypasses have a blank fitted where the small pipe fits, if not just plug the pipe.
You shouldn't leave a vacuum pipe open to the atmosphere, you may also get the dreaded duck noise. Have a look at the EGR threads using search, this should give you all the info about the duck.
