EddieB's Defender Hicap project thread

Hi all, as a regular member of another car related forum I thought start a project thread for my new 4x4 and update it occasionally. Please could admin move if this is in the wrong section!

Here is my 1994 Defender HiCap pickup, spec as follows;

-300tdi engine, no cat, EGR delete
-Britpart supergaz dampers and Springs
-proflex polybushed throughout
-Braided brake lines
-16x8 modular steel wheels with cooper discoverer (265/75/16)
-Galvanised chassis
-Ifor Williams canopy
-sound deadening in the cab

He's got 62,000 miles and runs sweet as a nut, I'm already really enjoying ownership. Anyway, I'll lets the pics do the talking. If anyone in The lothian area wants to meet up to do some offraoding shoot me a pm!

Dunno if you have noticed but it looks like you have had your steering wheel pinched. Have you visited Liverpool recently?

lamancha is the place i go to its just out side peniquick lol theres a outing on the 14th i think but i havent got a working motor just now

its £20 a day and you can camp for free there also going to be doing a mad on mud club type deal

if you like i could take you up and show you about as your pasanger

that sounds great cheers, can you pm me your no.? some of the stuff there looks quite serious! how big is the site?

its about 1.5 miles square ish but theres loads of tracks and some 101 sized holes lol thats why its good to be shown about lol

got some flaps with galvanised brackets, hopefully they won't get ripped off!

A couple of updates, now fitted piaa lamps, terrafirma steering guard, qt diff guards and gwyn lewis dislocation cones.

I also found my first landrover
