hi guys as you can see by the picture my ECU plug is loose and Is tucked under the console but what I can see is a hole for it I have actually put the plug in there but on trying to insert my nanocom it actually pops through am I missing something that makes it stay put or is the hole in the plastic just worn if it is I am sure that there are a few people on here with the same problem so how have you got round that ?

Do you mean OBD plug dont you? ... so was mine and i improvised with rivets

It's not the first time that's been seen. I've had it too, fortunately not on mine, but a friend's Disco. I just reached up behind the socket with my fingers to hold it in place while I connected the Nanocom.

Try using computer component fixings, they usually fir and are long enough ...

I was going to use glue , but I thought the glue might melt the plug

Try Maplin if you get stuck for fixings ...

unfortunately there isn't a maplins in Gibraltar

Ah, maybe a kind hearted member will sort it, if you cannot find anything else, but I have seen wood screws used as a last resort ..


carefully placed of course ...
