ECU Loom red plug and wires help please

Hi all
As per my last thread did a clean of the red plug going into ECU following oil ingress, after changing injector loom successfully. Obviously jiggled wires and plugs around in doing so. All fine for about 30 miles then on Saturday had the no engine management light/glow plug light issue and engine just turned over. Switched off and on again and all fine. Did same a day later. So cleaned plug again thoroughly with contact cleaner. Still no engine management light and glow plug lights and wont fire. Checked all fuses everywhere fine. Pulled the 2 yellow and one black main relay under the seat and look OK but cant check them. In checking red plug wiring found a bare wire as per photos. There is a large back "Sheathed" wire comes in, which has 3 wires in it; a black , an orange with black stripe and a yellow with blue/green stripe. The small black is bare for about an inch. Could this be my problem?
Can anyone advise what these wires are please (Cant find Hayes!) or any other advice please?

Can you not see which number pin it goes into and look on the diagram to see what it is
