ECU issue on Defender petrol

Hi all, I would like to get some help from maybe in UK you have more experience than in Italy on this topic: I have a Land Rover Defender 2.0 MPI from Carabinieri (Italian Army) that has the same engine that Discovery 2.0 MPI has. I have upgraded it with a supercharger (Eaton 45) and now I have some injection problems because I would like to improve the performance but I have some ECU constrains (such as the spark advance that on supercharged car should be higher etc.).
The ECU I have is a Motorola MEMS 1.6.
My question are:
- is there anyone of you that have any experience in modifying this ECU and know how to do it?
- is there anyone who changed the ECU and knows which one is compatible?

The 2.0MPI was a bit of a flop over here, Not many Discovery's with the MPI left (Or Built in the first place).

I think your best option would be to find a Rover Car froum and ask on there as the Engine was stolen out of a Rover 820 Apparently it was a good engine in that but when it was put in a 2-ton Discovery... not so

Mseries3, that was my second choice, and I will definetively do it. I was hoping got meet some British guys doing the same, or similar, work that I did, for the reason you explained. I think my work is good but probably the few expertice available in the market brings me very slow. Anyway thanks everybody.
