Our law allow reasonable force to be used, this includes the use of fire arms, in the event of burglary if they are armed. It’s likely you’ll get away with this if they are not armed as well. What we can’t use are automatic military assault weapons!!

Yes.... I'd like to see you try that and then still have your shotgun certificate at the end of it. I'd like to see the look on your FEO's face if you even so much as hint that your gun might be used for the puroposes of self defence.

Get real man! Our gun laws are a bloody joke.

This is well covered in other posts on the forum - but no, pedal lock is next to useless when used on its own.

As is a clutch lock, handbrake lock, gear lock, removable steering wheel and stoploc.

Are they though?

I know the ones off the shelf are weak, but I understand that if you weld two 'half moons' into the back of a disklok it is a very different ball game, and only very slightly harder to fit...

Given most landy owners own are pretty hands on, surely someone has fashion a handbrake lock/pedal (etc) that require at the very least a pair of 3' bolt cutters to remove - something obviously most don't carry, and in any case, aren't easy to use in anger inside a defenders cab!?

Handbrake lock is simple as is gear locker, removable steering wheel then place in storage locker or bring inside at night then pedal lock which clamps pedals, battery, fuel and ignition cut off too

Of course, no air bags mean you can remove the wheel - much better IMO.
