Nearly all the Sussex lanes have a seasonal TRO, even the ones that have been resurfaced, a few short lanes open around Hastings but otherwise it means a trip to Kent or Surrey- I've driven quite a few of those so would be happy to share a bit of knowledge. What does everyone thing about a pub meet or café meet? Somewhere central-is as we seem to be spread out a bit. Be good to get to know a few other local laners and arrange some trips!

A Sunday morning breakfast at a central cafe at a given time might be nice? Likes a full fry on a Sunday ;)

I'm Hampshire but it would be nice to have a drive out to the other shires to meet a few bods.

yeah i would be up for it, would be nice to go via a greasy spoon/cafe or something for a hot lunch, or start at a cafe :D

I havent done anything in kent, but have done surrey/sussex.
Some of the sussex lanes are nice when open for a casual drive, but nothing challenging.

So who want's to be the ring leader for this circus?

Sounds like Surrey will be the destination (I am new to Hampshire let alone finding my way around other counties West of East Anglia).

Who ever feels they best know their way around and want's to make a bit of a road book for us to follow from a start point, count me in, quite looking forward to it now.

Does the position of ring leader come with a fun hat?

I've driven a few of the Surrey lanes, some of which were pretty good.
I've actually driven a fair chunk of Hampshire lanes, I've got a mate in Basingstoke and we've had a couple of days out from there. I'd be interested in exploring some of the lanes around Haslemere too at some point.

Just stumbled across this thread, iv not been on this forum much recently tbh but it would be great to meet some like minded people, if your meeting up it would be great to get involved. I often struggle to find someone to head out with.

Snap, I moved back to the UK almost two years back and have struggled to find local guys interested in getting out laning.

I am back on the club scene now and will be off to as many play days as I can muster the time for I think as I have neglected my hobby far too much!!!

I think you'd be more than welcome to join in on a day out, we await our fearless leader to point us in the right direction :)

OK how does Sat 27th sound? That' my first non on call free weekend (...and my other half is at work!) There are a few good lanes around Reigate/Dorking area, nothing too technical but fun all the same then maybe head round to Guildford area where there are a few more that I haven't tried but want to try- one that's very sandy apparently which could be fun.
