Afternoon one and all!
Hope we are all cool and groovy??
Does any one here know:
a) Part no of EAS reservoir pressure sensor for 04 L322 td6?
(Found one on Ebay for 2006 MY!)
b) Position of EAS reservoir tank & sensor?
c) Does Reservoir require draining before fitting of said sensor?

Have checked compressor operation and all seems ok.
bypassed relay and pump ran but pressure will not increase.
Going to try a new sensor before shelling out for compressor!!!!
Thanks in advance for all your help!
Mick

The Air tank is under the drivers side next to the door sills - about 3 feet long made of aluminium....

Yes you will need to depressurise the tank first...this offically can only be done on diagnostics.

If the pump runs but the pressure doesn't increase then the compressor is fecked or the inlet filter is blocked, there is a bulletin about the inlet filter.

I just knew someone would have a diagram!
Pity we have no parts list! But thanks for the help!
I do appreciate it.

Datatek, where would I find bulletin about inlet filter???

And does anyone have an old compressor they want to swap for a few beer vouchers or maybe let me borrow?
I'm trying to check output pressure for compressor but have no reference data....
Thanks, yet again!
Mick

I would put my money on the piston seal on the pump. They are a little more sturdy on the L322 than the P 38, but still wear out. I've got an expel on my bench at work, 8 years old and couldn't blow up a balloon.

It was referred to on a thread a short while ago, modified inlet filter has extra holes in the side. Just try it with the filter removed. You don't need data for the compressor, just stick a finger over the outlet pipe with it running, if you can stop the air the pump is fecked:eek:
