Hi, I was hoping someone can help me, My range rover currently has a problem and the EAS will not inflate and is on the bump stops displaying the "slow 35 mph max" message! It started once a week displaying "EAS fault" on the dash but this would dis-appear before a return journey then the rear right corner would sometimes be low! then on one journey the car started beeping and the 35mph message came up, the car went down on to the bump stops. I brought the cable for the EAS diagnostics software and got an error "rr valve stuck closed" I have since replaced the rr solenoid valve but the EAS still will not inflate. I have since looked on here and now I don't know what to try!! Please help thanks :(.

Hello.
I had the same problem in my RR.
It appeared that air spring was overused so I had to change it.
As that problem wasn't solved before I bought my car (I bought with EAS problem but i didn't know about it) and EAS pomp was working too long and it needed to renovate it.
After changing air spring it was clear that 10 years old spring has no holes it was just overused.

had the same problem, had to fit all four bags, cost me about 200 but it did the trick, hope this helps.

Good morning, Seems you may have a similar problem to my own.
I suggest you talk to Tim at Mansfield Motors of Manningtree in Essex, after several years of going to main dealers and getting fed bul**** by what I can only describe as geriatric apprentices I found Tim.
He is one of the most exerienced persons that I have found on the solutions to EAS on Range Rovers.
My problem was a small electric control box that appears to corrode through condensation, it happens on RR that are about 8 to 10 yrs.
The part cost was £186-00, not bad after main dealers recommended new valve blocks fitted £1100-00, BECM £2000-00, New air pipes throughout £1300-00, and so it went on.
I met Tim by chance , he told me how they had studied the diagnostics of P38 themselves after finding the resetting devices gave wrong information, they have worked on these vehicles since they first came out.
I had my problems last year and the EAS has been fine ever since.( 14 months ago).
I know how you feel, I had sleepless nights and got very depressed.
Best of Luck.
Best regards Martin.

Hi 1bumbee1
Have you sorted your problem now, or are you still searching for a solution.
Do you know how to manually test each corner and pump up by jumping the EAS controller pins? If not I can advise. If that all works then it is just a matter of clearing the faults.
