I can't believe the symptoms I have could describe a simple leak or compressor that is no longer able to pump. Maybe I have a combination of faults, some of which are intermittent.

Firstly. The front drivers side drops noticeably when parked. Recently the drivers front dropped while driving. I set it to wading height and it raised and leveled off perfectly. Upon returning to normal height it stayed level. The time it takes to pump up in the morning varies. Sometimes I am half way down the street before it stops flashing, other times it's done before I even reverse onto the road.

When stopped at a level crossing some mornings I notice the front going up and down a couple of inches.

It has never shown a fault.
 
the front going up and down i been told is normal behaviour, mine does it too. goes up and down an inch or two then holds its possition.
maybe your compressor seal is worn and thats why it takes a long time to rise, other mornings you may have more air in the tank and it raises quicker?
i replaced my compressor inards for the same reason, it would sometimes take up to 10 mins, and is been fine ever since.
i have had the front drivers side raise to off road high! i move it up/down and then all is fine. its done this 2 times in 3 years!
i too have no fault showing.....

Today I fitted a new air spring to the saggy side. I did it keeping the wheel arch liner in place as removing that looked like a bigger job than the rest. It was a bit fiddly but nothing like as bad as I'd imagined. The hardest part was putting the wheel back on. It two of us 20 minutes. Not a job I'd like to do on my own on the hard shoulder.

Anyway when parked on my drive, the front still lowers, but now it is even. The old air spring had 98 on it. I am guessing this is the year of manufacture so this would make it the original part.

The other side seems ok, but I think for piece of mind I'll replace that one too next week.
