Thanks Henrik :)

I'll be replacing rear sensors in the coming week and fitting a replacement, refurbished valve block. Your suggestion with the pressure valve is a good one - might give that a go!

Mine came up with EAS fault slow 35mph yesterday in driving rain after dropping off a kerb. Got home and plugged into EAS unlock and the only fault recorded was FR sensor incorrect reading. I guess it's time for a new one.

Worth checking the connector. One of mine failed in the rain, the O ring seals had failed and let water into it

Hadn`t though about that, makes you wonder how did we all couped no, pas abs tc esp and all the other modern stuff, who needs heated stearing wheels:D

I would love a heated steering wheel in a P38 as often driving in Scandinavia in winter!

Yes it's a good idea to carry some emergency inflation valves, I still do, I used to offer these commercially years ago until some ba...s copied my system and even, to rub wounds in, copied my instruction sheet complete with my spelling mistakes! but I could not compete on price - I offered a basic set and a more advanced set with miniature air gauges. The idea is that you can inflate each air bag individually with a cheap 12v plug-in compressor or air-line at a garage. The height was indicated with a length of measured plastic rod, floor to top of wheel arch. The valve block is isolated by inserting solid 6mm rods to prevent any dirt or just tape over and the removal of the EAS relay. If your air bags were in good condition this eliminated the rest of the system and could be a good way of getting home - no adjustment naturally. But a soft ride at standard height. Obviously this relies on the air bags and lines being in good condition. But all the electronic stuff is removed. Also good for finding out if a bag is bad!
