I’m after a diagram with locations for all the earth points on a 2007 L322 TDV8. Has anyone have one please?
There is a main one under the front right wing behind the plastic liner. It's responsable for the chassis to body earth.I’m after a diagram with locations for all the earth points on a 2007 L322 TDV8. Has anyone have one please?
We had this on 2005 sport. The radio wouldn't come on among other things, a lazy start LR and duff battery readings. Once rectified the whole car changed its reaction to the key being turned.Useful to know thank you, maybe fist place to check
And it is the one that rubs on the liner and causes problems when it splits. There is a main one under the front right wing behind the plastic liner. It's responsable for the chassis to body earth.
Quite possibly. It is quite an important and stupidly placed one, that's for sureAnd it is the one that rubs on the liner and causes problems when it splits.
It was certainly the one that caused my issues, and I think I was the first to post about it, on here. Jeeez that was a long time ago.Quite possibly. It is quite an important and stupidly placed one, that's for sure
Don't know we didn't take it out. Car was packed and I was headed down south. AA came out said 'probably the earth'. He put an engine earth on to different area. Car,started and off I went.Is it easy to spot with the wing liner out?
So long ago I don't quite remember. Very similar to flat battery, if I recall correctly. It's on here somewhere, amongst my many posts. You'd be quicker trying a new engine earth , than looking for the post! What were your issues GoldRover?
It is directly above the wheelIs it easy to spot with the wing liner out?
I took the wing liner out and couldn’t see an earth point at all, could it be different in the TDV8 over the TD6?And it is the one that rubs on the liner and causes problems when it splits.
Just a thought , but why not just put a new one in? If it fixes the problem, great. If not then maybe it's not the ptoblem? Is it really obvious? There is a plastic channel, wouldn’t have thought it was hidden by it though.
I was actually looking for that thread but forgot the nameAs I said if you look at the doc I posted in post 2 you will see where you can download the whole thing for free. Then you can check the connector info which will show where they are in pics.
I remember the post/fred @Mark Piercy made but it was a sport, But as goldie seems to have said she has 1 there I dont know (no point tagging she has me on the naughty step)

We all seem to find that the manual we have doesn't quite fit the car so yes its possible changes were made, its a LR product and they like to keep us on our toes dont they .
