@biketeacherdave what did you notice most about the engine after the remap?
Every time I read these threads about Dynachip, it reminds me that I really must get mine done. Bit of an issue though with having a huge puddle in between me and Mike.
I did email him last year and he offered to remap my ECU if I posted it to him, but one thing or another has always seemed to get in the way. Once the weather improves, and the motorbike comes back in daily use, I think I'll be dropping Mike an email.

Yes it goes like stink it is quieter I'm sure it pulls like no other diesel iv driven and iv driven a few I went on some local roads here I use to test drive my cars and bikes after repair a mix of A and B roads so 30 mph roads all the way up to 60mph. Lots of up hill stuff.
The engine and gearbox now know they are connected together before it seemed to me they had no idea what they were doing those driving a standard td5 will know what I mean up and down the gears all the time, kick down doing nothing but making more noise. Who would have known a 2ish ton brick with a 2.5 oil burner could be so much fun..... There I said it. Still won't replace the p38 4.6 V8 in my life.

No but he did check that the actuator was working properly he made no adjustment to it
As soon as the wife gets back with it I'll snap a picIf you get a chance, can you post a photo of your wastegate actuator?
Mike did mine a week or so ago and we had to wind back the actuator as a PO had boosted the pressure and removed the modulator - so I want to get it back to standard and then adjust slowly with the Nanocom to get the optimal setting - so a photo of yours would really help

£225 I believe (pls correct me if I'm wrong). Mine will cost a bit more due to postage off and back on to the rock.I'm very tempted, had mine about a month, and although I love it, from a standing start, it's like a slug on blotting paper!!!
