hiya gang, erm... I have a slight problem and I need some advice please guys. A mechanic that is one of my neighbours gave the ole p38 a check over, he found that I had some axle fluid leaking out of one of the seals, erm he called it a inner axle seal, he said it wasnt a problem and he can sort that, he also pumped more fluid into the axle so we didnt lose too much. he checked the discs and pads and do need replacing, Ive ordered the parts already, but what i am worried about are the tiny cracks in the air suspension bags, one at the top and one at the bottom, question is, how thick are these bags and am I about to have a burst bag? and how much are these to replace? I am a little scared of this bag exploding on the motorway, they are not leaking atm which is a good thing.
would it not have bin wise to get him to look it ovva before you bought it.

That'll be that hindsight thingy then.
take the kanckered one down to yer local bearing and seal place and get them to match it up fer you. should cost a **** load less than geting one in a placcy bag that has landrover written on ityour so right bud, my only prob was that my neighbour works away and I dont see him much. but yep you are right, I am having trouble getting a part though if anyone can help, its a inner seal axle to cv joint for front drivers side.
Regards Ted and thanks in advance

Hi Ted ..
If U're Sure About Your Problem .. Don't Ride It Before U Fix It .. It May Cause Other Problems ..
