droping sun blinds

does any one know if this is a comman fault.
my two blinds wont stay up ive tried velcro but they are 2 heavy.is it worth looking in scrap yard or is this a comman thing.
ive noticed down here in wales discos dont seem to make a lot of cash at auction.we go down west wales where they are giving them away there is a great auction down there once a month.
mate jus got a 200 tdi l reg no faults for just £440.00 quid.i got my 300 tdi for £950.00including all the extras worth that much on their own.

it's not worth buying another disco at auction just to fix your blinds, even at that price.
